Grace Hubbard-Smith (b. 1998) is Welsh-British art practitioner based in the UK. She studied the Fine Arts BA at Aberystwyth and is now working as an artist in the capital city of Wales, Cardiff.
Grace’s work is a constant exploration into light, how it shapes and colours atmosphere. Through her paintings she aims to bring about a subtlety of form, creating a ubiqituous moment within space and time. Tying into this is her discovery and understanding of her own phenomena and perceptive reality.
The application of paint within her paintings is a techqinue of applying, removing and smudging to create an atmospheric haze. Grace has exhibited in South Wales and London.
